Message Well, I took apart the first of the fronts that need refinished. Prepped, taped, cleaned, primered, painted, and cleared. I am happy with the results. There new stock wheels have zero flake in the paint and the paint I used has very small flake. It is much less evident in person but the flash makes it show pretty well in the pic. The "fringe" around the back of the spokes is just tape. I taped up the entire back side of the centers because it is bare machined surface there and on the new ones. Tempted to take the new rears apart and shoot them too.

Years ago, I asked an old guy that was a Porsche guru if you could put a 914 motor in a bug. I have applied his response to many situations since then......"Son, you could put a winshield wiper on a billy goats ass, but I don't know why you would want to".
